Sub : Proforma for Telecom Assets Maintenance.

Please find herewith following proforma in connection with
telecom asset maintenance at stations and sections.

1. Cable Testing Report;

2. OFC, OTDR Testing Report;

3. OFC Power Measurement Testing Report;

4. Foot Patrolling of OFC and Quad;

5. Coach Indication Board;

6. Train Indication Board;

7. Public Address System and Auto Announcement;

8. Digital Clock and Tower Clock;

9. Face to Face Enquiry;

10. PRS and UTS;

It is advised that maintenance register should be opened at every stations
and recording of maintenance activity should be done by
Technicians/JEs/SSEs (Tele) and concerned officers in the register.
Schedule of maintenance as per Telecom Manual shall be followed.

Normal schedule of maintenance for Technician at every fort-night, Section
JE/SSE(Tele) at every month and SSE/Tele Incharge at every quarter should
be followed. Officers' level inspection should be done at every year. OFC
measurement shall be taken at every quarter.

Action should be taken immediately and compliance of the same should be
submitted by 20th Jan, 2014.
